Description
Malware frequently utilizes the Windows Autorun feature for distribution across external media. Standard antivirus scanning occasionally misses these initial execution triggers. Flash Guard provides a dedicated layer of protection specifically for removable drives.
The application starts at user logon and monitors all connected media continuously. It executes your configured security protocol the moment a new USB drive mounts to the system:
Remove context menu items
The software strips unauthorized right-click entries generated by Autorun configurations. This core function allows you to browse the drive safely through Windows Explorer.
Notify the user
The application displays a desktop warning when it detects execution scripts on new media.
Remove Autorun.inf
You can configure the system to delete the primary execution file instantly.
Remove all Autorun files
The utility eliminates all associated execution triggers for complete sanitization. Administrators can customize the exact response protocol in the settings panel.
